The Cricketer's Rest

Not just a club bar, The Cricketer's Rest is a proper pub. Its windows look out over the unique bowl that is Ventnor Cricket Club's Steephill ground, unlike any other known to us. It offers restful surroundings, above the beach cove of Steephill and adjacent to Ventnor Botanic Gardens.

The pub offers a variety of options, from special dinners and functions to snacks to accompany a drink from the bar.

A separate room can be made available for personalised functions, from a Lecture Room for 50 people to a more formal Dining Area for up to 36 people.

For users of the I.W. Cricket Academy upstairs, the pub also offers a place to review how you got on, with access to playback facilities on video. It is possible to set up a day of training that will include refreshments and food at pre-planned intervals. Whatever your needs, the staff at The Cricketer's Rest will try their personal best to match your requirements.
